Final Report: Aspiration raising and transition of disabled students from Further Education to Higher EducationDescription: This final report gives the findings of a HEFCE/LSC funded scoping study concerned with widening participation in higher education. The study reviewed the available literature for issues associated with raising the educational aspirations of disabled students. The study also examined the key issues relating to the transition of disabled students from FE to HE. The research for the final phase of this study (phase two) was conducted by the NDT and Skill. The report was published in July 2004. There was an interim report from phase one of the study, which was published in Jan 2004.
